The spectacular new production brings Luigi Cherubini’s iconic masterpiece to life as the season opener for the world-renowned Teatro Real. Set in the ancient city of Corinth, the narrative unfolds not through the eyes of the enchantress herself, but through those of the innocent children who are perhaps the true victims of the tragic Greek tale of passion, betrayal, revenge, and exile.
