AT BERLIN’S HAUS KUNST MITTE FORUM FOR CONTEMPORARY ART

A unique exhibition of visual art will show how artists from different cultural backgrounds with strong religious traditions, such as the UAE, Israel, Germany, India, Italy, and other Arab countries, illuminate the idea of a new wave of spirituality. In works across a wide variety of media, 40 artists including Emirati practitioner Aisha Juma, Josef Bueys, Sarah Abu Abdallah, Georg Baselitz, Antoni Tapies, Emma Kunz and Pipilotti Rist invite audiences to dive into spiritual experiences, enhance critical reflections on the societal implications of spirituality and indulge in poetic takes on questions about belief.
