The workshop aims to introduce literary doctrines and their characteristics, forms of creative expression, and the various techniques used to produce literary work including the short—and very short—story, narratives, poems and more. The workshop also seeks to raise awareness about the beauty of the Arabic language and the importance of self-expression through writing.
Workshop topics:
– Why, How, What and for whom do we write?
-Artistic and Literary Doctrines: Their history and attributes.
-Elements of literature: the mental element (the idea) / the emotional element (feeling) / the imaginary element (the image).
-The beauty of language and its ability to provide a platform for expression.
-Creative writing and speech patterns
