Millstone Documentary

Award-winning Emirati writer and filmmaker Nasser Aldhaheri documents the inspiring story of the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in his latest film Millstone: Al Ain “The Eye” is the first to see dreams.

The documentary, which took two years to complete and is dedicated to Mother of the Nation, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, delves into archives of past interviews as well as present-day accounts of those who witnessed Sheikh Zayed materialise a dream that was born in Al-Ain and spread to the entire nation when the inspirational leader established the Union and became its beloved President.  The film chronicles the legendary life of the visionary who garnered the respect of his people and the world with his innovative dream to turn a barren desert into a thriving global hub, upholding his place in history as one of the greatest leaders the region, and the world, has ever known.
